Speaker of the Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein conveyed parliament's condolences to President Reuven Rivlin and his family following the passing of his wife Nechama Tuesday morning at the age of 73.

"On behalf of myself and the entire Israeli Knesset, its members and employees, I share in the deep sorrow of my friend, President of the State Reuven Rivlin, and his family," Speaker Edelstein wrote.

“With her unique personality and radiant face, Nechama influenced everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed by us all. May her memory be blessed."
