MK Miki Zohar presents the bill
The Knesset plenum late Wednesday night passed the bill to disperse the 21st Knesset, just over a month after it was sworn in, and hold general elections for the 22nd Knesset on Tuesday, September 17.
The bill, submitted by MK Miki Zohar (Likud), passed its third and final reading by a vote of 74-45, with one MK absent (Kulanu's Roy Folkman).
